Well, I did manage to get my new toy. Spanking new and totally pimped out 12.1 inch ThinkPad X61 Ultraportabe by Lenovo. My last X series machine was the IBM ThinkPad X24. Running on the latest Intel Core2 Duo T9300 CPU @ 2.50Ghz, this little mean beast is a real powerhouse. Tricking it out to the maximum of 4GB of RAM, I’m expecting my new X61 to last me through the next 3 years like my previous piece. Don’t ask me how much this little devil is going to cost me. If all goes as planned, it should pay for itself within the next 3 months and it better do just that.
Got a 8GB SanDisk Cruzer to store work critical files. That should allow me to work on both my machines. Alright, time to get some lunch. I’m famished.

Hi Golan,
Thanks for dropping by. To tell you the truth, Checking out the my local Lenovo Website, the highest specs for the X61 is on tthe T7300 @ 2.0GHz.
I got this piece of hardware at my local IT Mall in Funan Centre. I would believe Lenovo doesn’t advertise all their machines on their website.
A trip down to your local Lenovo reseller might just surprise you. I for one didn’t expect to see the T9300 on this machine.
