Just got myself a new toy yesterday. The Canon EOS 40D is my 2nd digital camera and my very first ‘full-frame’ digital SLR. The Semi-pro equipment will replace my trusty little Casio Exlim EX-S600 which has seen better days and ultimately succeeded by newer models from the compact line-up such as the EX-S10. I’m not going to touch too much on the 40D in this post as I’m caught up in work and burning my lunch break here. I will post more on my photoblog - Photo My World perhaps this weekend.
In the meantime, just to show you what some of the hasty shots I took last evening compares to my Sony Ericsson P1i’s 3.2 MP on-board camera, I attached some pictures below. The picture above of the 40D is taken by my SE P1i of course. Sony Ericcson P1i with lots of noise in the background even without enlarging the photo. On my Canon EOS 40D no flash was required. Just ambient lighting. More picture by both my SE P1i and new toy below.
That’s it for now. Check my photoblog @ Photo My World this weekend to read more.

Well, Canon 40D is not a Full-Frame, it’s only a APS-C!
