The weekend was rather quiet except for a rude wake up call I received at 02:00hrs on Sunday morning. Il fine settimana è stata piuttosto tranquilla, fatta eccezione per un rude sveglia ho ricevuto a ore 02:00 di Domenica mattina. Other than that, I’m glad most of the personal stuff have been sorted out. Diverso da quello, mi fa piacere la maggior parte delle cose personali sono stati ordinati. Good riddance really but I will not elaborate. Riddance veramente bene, ma io non elaborate. It’s my fourth week here and also my last day here; for now at least. E 'la mia quarta settimana qui e anche il mio ultimo giorno qui, per ora almeno. I will be headed back home to Singapore tomorrow. Sarò a capo tornare a casa domani a Singapore. I am looking forward to that actually. Attendo con ansia che effettivamente. Though I am sure that business class on Vietnam Airlines isn’t going to make much of a difference. Anche se sono sicuro che in business class sul Vietnam Airlines non è destinato a rendere molto più di una differenza. I’d rather fly economy class on Singapore Airlines to be honest. Preferisco volare in classe economica a Singapore Airlines essere onesti. It will be close to 2 weeks before I am scheduled to be in Hanoi again. Anyway, I took a 2 minutes walk out of the project office during lunch today. Comunque, ho preso un 2 minuti a piedi dal progetto ufficio durante il pranzo di oggi. The Catholic Cathedral in Hanoi (Saint Joseph’s Cathedral) just down the street still holds regular Masses on the weekends. On the weekdays, there are barricades surrounding it but this is a very prominent landmark and unique to its own. I’m not sure how old this building is exactly but if its older than I am, it’s another structure that survived the war. I should have taken some pictures of this in the morning. Avrei preso alcune immagini di questo la mattina. By lunch time, the natural lighting wasn’t as good. I couldn’t get a better picture of the smaller details as the surroundings of the cathedral was fenced up.
