Just for the fun of it, I took some pictures with both my new X61 and 1.5 year old R60.
Even with the 8 cell battery attached to the X61, the R60 is still wider.

While the X61s would have been completely flat without the little bumps at the base, the X61 is almost half the thickness of the R60. The neatest little gadget about the X61 here has to be the card reader slot which is missing in the R60.

Nice new comp. I am a mac user myself but if I ever got a PC it would be an IBM cause I do not like any of the other brands. Plus IBM is a name that has gained my trust, unlike the other brands. Have fun with your new toy.
